Mezza9 - Work in progress

This is a work-in-progress shot of one half of the mezzanine floor that I'm project managing for my client. It might not look like much at the moment but quite a bit of effort went into just getting it to where it is. Just a platform like this required the services of a designer, structural engineer, building surveyor, etc.. and all these people aren't even involved in the actual building of the thing.

It's going to be 200sqm with a fireproof room and a loading gate.

Going under the floor will be my next project which is a server room.

Quite a big change from my advertising days huh. I guess it's nice to see something tangible taking shape. Most of my other consulting work results in changes in processes and mindsets, or are only tangible if I print out the report I wrote.

Anyway, I've got some other photos to put up and blog about later but for those of you wondering if I do anything over here... well, here's proof. (proof that I take the photos at least. :P)
