Pink Balls Fly Further

Yes. You heard me. It's been scientifically established by my wife who has a Bachelors in Science. In fact, the same logic also applies to Clubs, Shoes, Tees, Golf Bags, and pretty much anything that starts with the letter "G" including Guam which would look much better if the entire island was populated with baby pink flamingos.

Shirley began her golf a few posts ago and this past long weekend (Melbourne Cup! You have to love a city that shuts down so everyone can bet on a horse race) we went out TWICE to the golf course.

In between, we found time for a BBQ in our own backyard, inspired by a recent dinner with friends.

A BBQ for two always seemed like so much work, but not so these days, thanks to our friends at Sunbeam (who made our electric BBQ), Westinghouse (who made our dishwasher) and Asian Grocery @ Russell St (from whence we bought the sliced beef. Yums!)

And in case you didn't already realise, yes. Pink tongs make the food taste better too.
