So anyway, the big expanse of land around the corner is one of the main attractions of this neighbourhood for us. This photo is probably from the peak of last year's hot season. We did have some nice grass growing back but it's not as lush as when we first moved here three years ago.
It's kind of scary when you zoom out of the map and realise how tiny your little plot of land is relative to the rest of the city, not to mention the world!
