It’s kind of ironic that the more free time I have, the less I seem to blog. Maybe it’s something to do with ‘being productive’, either that or blogging helps relieve stress – and I’m quite unstressed at the moment.
Yup. My project ended about a month ago and I’ve been practicing for retirement ever since. Apart from sending Shirley to work and picking her up, my days tend to be filled with doing chores around the house, making phone calls, setting up networking meetings and going for interviews. (Oh. And the occasional round of golf)
Since my last post.
- We brought Ginger on the million paws walk organized by the RSPCA. Wouldn’t you know it – there were protestors there too ! (See previous post about our run-in with protestors). Apparently, this group Animal Liberation Victoria reckons the RSPCA is dodgy.
- I went through 4 rounds of interview for a position that I wanted. Choked at the last one on friday. For reasons unknown to me, I suddenly got the nerves. Wasn’t meant to be I guess.
- I fell really sick for a week about a fortnight ago. So sick that I pretty much stayed in bed the entire week. Icky feeling but I’m all better now.
That’s pretty much it ! Not a lot happening over here. Weather’s getting cold which looks promising for our annual ski trip, although with the drought and all, snow fall is still not as good as past years.
Oh yeah. We’re picking up the new car on Thursday. Coppery-orange Suzuki Swift. Will post up pictures when we get it.
