Things have gotten pretty crazy at work. My scope changed from looking after one aspect of the project to looking after the entire document and process flow of the project but with much less depth.
At one point, over the last weekend, emails were flying back and forth the whole day, and even throughout the night. On an average day, the emails stop at midnight, and start again at 6am. It’s crazy how much resources have been put into this project and it’s an amazing experience for me to be involved at the level I am.
So even though I’m still usually home by 7pm, you can imagine how tired I am by the end of the day. Thankfully, Shirley has picked up the culinary baton and has been cooking up a storm ! It’s a hidden talent that I don’t think she even knew she had. I couldn’t believe that her green curry wasn’t store bought !
Although. having said that, we did eat out a lot this week and we topped it off today with a huge meal at Campari this afternoon - the Linguine di Mare was fantastic. Fresh linguine always tastes immeasurably better than the cook-at-home variety.
Ok. Time to catch up on my TV. Hope all is well for all at home.
