More Gingerous Adventures

After swimming a month ago, we brought ginger on a new adventure in her 5 year life-span (speaking of which HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINGER !) For the first time in her furry five, she took the train.

Well, yes, she’d already been on a plane, but that didn’t count. Firstly, we weren’t there (she was on a different flight from us) and that was more of a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The train on the other hand was something that she saw fairly regularly when Shirley came to meet me at the train station near our house.

She’d always been frightened of the big metal beast so we decided to help her get over her phobia. (Besides, it was fun ! ) You don’t see many dogs on the train but we did a check and they are allowed.

As the pictures may allude to, she didn’t enjoy the experience half as much as it was novel for us to be doing it. Half the time she was either uncertain, resisting getting on the train (we got on and off several times) or whinging about it.

Well, she’ s no seasoned traveller, but at least she’s got more exposure now. Too bad no trains go to the country club. I started day dreaming about her taking the train to the club for a swim and then making her way back.. :D
