Wow. An old schoolmate of mine got assaulted over road rage the weekend past. I came across Greg's post about Isaiah getting beat up by 3-4 guys, one of them ang moh. Apparently, the police aren't doing anything about it. Or at least not yet.
Quite disturbing. Especially since I witnessed a similar incident (although it seemed less one sided than Isaiah's) just 10m or so outside my house on sunday. One guy pulled up next to another, both started yelling at each other, and soon after, they were on the floor slugging it out.
Sometimes, I wonder what would happen if I got into a fight. It wouldn't help that my physique includes (as my friend Eu Gene eloquently describes) a concave chest and a tiny little pot belly. But by gosh, I've got golf clubs in the boot if we ever need a driver-to-driver discussion.
Anthony (mate from work) got a speeding fine on the road just outside our office. He was doing 78 on a 60 road. $215 fine with three demerit points. *ouch* It's almost enough to make you wanna just take the bus.
Doesn't look like a good week in the news dept.
Last but not least. Condolences to Daph. Her grandma passed away on friday.
Let's hope it gets better from here.
