This is it.

I've finally hit the big three. Three-Zero. Thirty. Can't call me 'young man' anymore. By most demographics, I'm a fatherly age already.

So I guess it's kind of indicative of the stage of my life, that I'm at work, with no plans to celebrate the demise of my youth.

Shirley's back in Singapore by the way - to attend her cousin's wedding. Coincidentally, my cousin's getting married around X'mas so I'm trying to head back for that as well - pending an available seat.
Looking forward to going back and catching up with friends, even if it would only be for a week. It's always nice to see how everyone's doing, celebrate successes, and reflect on all the different paths our lives have taken.

Speaking of different path, I'm hoping to have some news about my new career path soon. But for now, I'm trying to figure out a data management problem, so it's back to the drawing board.

"Happy birthday to me..." :)

P.S. Just a little snippet of disturbing news. Disturbing because that's where my brother-in-law was staying until last week and where I went to visit him a couple of months ago. It's reallly a nice, quiet neighbourhood - or at least I thought it was.
