Heh. Sorry for the looooong hiatus. As you can see from the left navigation panel, I've been busy setting up an eBay store selling handbags to fashionistas worldwide but alas, success is still on its way. Nevertheless, it's been an enjoyable experience especially when someone leaves a positive feedback after a purchase telling you how happy they are with the item. :)
Ebay aside, I've been good. The sydney trip was sensational. We went to the Taronga Zoo and lots of flea markets. It's funny how everything looks the same after you've lived in Australia for like .. let's see .. almost 4.5 yrs now? Anyway, even though we shopped quite a bit, I didn't buy much. Only bought a pair of sunglasses and a long skirt. Still, it was great being able to see my brother again. He's graduating this Dec so we thought we'd better pay him a visit before he heads back to sg for good.
As always, there are photos to show but I'm too tired to do it now (what with all that packing and getting ready to move). And speaking of which, we will be moving between 12th-17th Oct (good news). Unfortunately, we do not have a telephone line hooked up yet which means we will not have internet access (bad news). According to the very incompetent Telstra (who of cos monopolises the entire infrastructure network), apparently, our area does not have the capability for broadband "two" so we will still be stuck with broadband "one" - whatever those terms mean. And worse, we have no idea when we will have internet connection because they are still "upgrading" the capacity to even have a proper phone line. Talk about backwardness!
ps: wat colour should I choose for my font....hmmm....judging from the "tasteful" colour Joe has chosen for HIS blog, pink is certainly out (see my previous post and u'll know why). Maybe lime green? ;)
pps: and oh, Joe added this pretty cool feature - click on 'refresh' to see it!
