It's actually disturbing that politics seems to be less about issues and more about personal mudslinging. "Swift Boat Veterans" etc..

Suddenly, the transition of the Singaporean leadership (albeit back into the hands of the Lee Dynasty) seems like a blissful affair, for I'd rather have a stable country where the leaders at least seem to be more concerned about the country's growth, rather than be worried about making the right moves to keep the ship in the right direction every four years.
