Feb 12: Official toll stands at 181. Thankfully no one we know has been hurt but one has lost a house. Also additional confirmation from someone nearby that Mt Disappointment is black.
A couple of suspected arsonists have been apprehended.
Feb 10: For those of you who've been horse-riding with us, the forest that we normally ride through, Mt Disappointment, has apparently been destroyed. I've only heard it on the radio so far but I'll see if I can find pictures.
Healesville is under threat, 173 dead and counting.
