SGDay in Melbourne 08

So many people, so little chicken rice.

Sorry for taking so long to post the SGDay pix, but ironically, there's an inverse proportion to how long we stayed at the event.

We made the mistake of showing up hungry, and while we were all excited about chowing down on lard and msg-laden food, our hopes were dashed by the horrendously long queues. (I found out later the food was FREE! NO WONDER!)

Free Food + 11,000 people = Joe - Patience

By all measures (apart from waiting time/eating time), it seemed to be a pretty well attended event. I even saw people crowding around the 40 years of NS exhibition booth. Maybe they were hoping there was some food being dispensed there ?

We ended up eating at "Hawkers Cafe" in Chinatown which specialises in Chicken Rice. Oh well.
