Had my blood boiling for a second with thoughts of mercenary ministers. Isn't public service around wanting to improve the quality of life for your fellow citizen ? But then I saw the light.
Maybe what Singapore needs is Foreign Talent in Government. In this case, Foreign talent would probably even be cheaper than the 'local talent' and hey.. I'm sure even the lord mayor of Melbourne (4 mil people) would be well qualified to be a minister in Singapore. And guess what, he's only being paid a paltry $110,000 year. That's what Singaporean ministers make in a month.
Idea huh ? :) Don't even get me started about Outsourcing the gahmen..
