Summer Ice Skating

On a warm november day last week, we decided to do some indoor activities - and we visited the only remaining ice skating arena in the metro area. It doesn't look like it here but the place was crawling with little kids, hockey players and figure skaters. Kinda like the fuji ice palace, except the ice doesn't melt very much, even on that warm summer day.

Shirz and Om pose for a quick snap while we each try to stay on our feet. Much needed relief on a warm day. It's going to be bad next week though. The weather bureau is forecasting 38 degrees on wednesday (faint). Think I'll finally don that short-sleeved shirt and tie combination that the ozzies have so readily adopted. Maybe they should make a short sleeved suit :D

Cherry picking tomorrow (sat) then horse riding on Sunday. This is gonna be a busy weekend.
