Like Dr Frankenstein, I've been locked up in my garage, chipping away at my latest creation. A bed head (or head board, depending on where you're from) that I built from scratch. Yes, scratch. As in raw wood. At the moment, it's drying out its second coat of finish. I'm just going to put on another coat and install the reading light and speakers and it'll be done !

Apart from having to work on saturday (see previous post) that's pretty much what I did most of the weekend. It's nowhere near the excitement of meeting a perspiring PM but of notable mention was the birthday party on saturday night (Shirley's uni friend turned 21. Yes. 21.) and I played my first golf game with three friends, all italians. Whoever said golf was a friendly game hasn't played it with italians. These guys define competitive ! but it was really good fun though. I guess the highlight of my game was chipping a ball and slam dunking it directly into the hole to make Par on a Par 4. Of course, it wasn't enough to make up for one hole which took me 10 shots (3 missed putts). All in all, it was pretty good though.

Will put up photos of the bedhead when it's done (probably wednesday). For now, it's almost go home time ! yay ! I think I've got a headache from the paint fumes in the office and at home.
