A fortnight ago, I came across an unusual sight. A suit-and-tie wearing executive was walking down a leisurely street in South Melbourne. That's not the unusual bit. He was wearing crocs. A black suit and a bright yellow pair of plastic sandals.

I thought maybe he had lost a bet, or he's in some kind of fashion related industry.

Anyway, I think I have an idea of what might have happened. This morning, while arising out of my early morning stupor, I was making a mental note to bring my comfy shoes to work so I can play a bit of golf at lunch. As it turns out, my mental note went one step further as I wore my casual runners, along with my SUIT !

I only realised it when I was walking up the steps of the two storey office building and thinking to myself "boy, my shoes are really comfortable".

So I did the only rational thing. I walked back to my car, and drove down the street to buy a pair of cheapo office-looking shoes. Guess what goes around comes around huh. That'll teach me to make fun of other people's shoes.

Shirley's going horse-riding with our guests today. Must really remember to put up some of those pix soon.
