Here's my big-headed link of the day.
Tim Harford, a prominent economist and columnist for the Financial Times, made the same argument I made late last year - that Car Rental insurance wasn't priced correctly.
Tim Harford's Post
Mine (from a different blog that I haven't been keeping up with :P)
Hmmm.. Joseph Yap, Economist Blogger.. Nice ring to it doncha think ? ;)
Weekend was nice. Finally got a chance to unwind, having tied up one project I was working on. Managed to catch up on all the TV shows, (Lost, Yakitate Japan) and a couple of movies in my "Movie Queue" (Twins Effect, Battlestar Galactica, Jabberwocky).
Looking forward to planning some leisure activities (i.e. Golf lessons). Shirley's mugging for exams though, so there's a slight imbalance in our busy-ness.
Haven't caught Da Vinci code yet but I've been hearing that it's pretty bad, so kind of undecided whether to pay $11 to watch it or just wait till the DVD becomes a $1 'weekly' rental.
Had a nice surprise from Gerry on Sunday. She SMSed me out of the blue from indo. Guess she was feeling guilty about not replying my email ! HA ! :D It's amazing how things have changed since our days in Nassim Hill. She's still saving the world one Tsunami-disaster-victim-at-a-time. Always nice to have a friend who maintains one's 'faith-in-humanity' quota. Not sure how long she can keep it up for though. Disaster-victim saving is tough work.
Speaking of work, I need to get back to earning that paycheck. Hope this week starts off well for you !

Twins Effect was in your movie queue??? Gee...I never thot you had it in you :P
BTW, wat's in the only you CD that you sent over??
Was a pretty crap show though. Only interesting bits had to do with special effects. And I think Storm Riders was better in that department.
Watched House of Flying daggers too. Made-for-Hollywood-not-for-a-chinese-audience. Zhang Yimou needs to update his style.
