Glenn headed back yesterday. (evident from the recovery of PBL late in the day). It Was really good seeing him again, cracking jokes, etc. It's been 7 years since we were all in school together, and it's really interesting to see how things have changed since then.
If you asked me 7 years ago what we'd be doing now, I probably would have made some fairly inaccurate predictions: Daphne would be some kind of travel writer or editing something. Glenn would be some form of salesman - maybe a sales/marketing manager for a luxury goods type place like Mont Blanc or Tiffany's. Shahn would be a business analyst at a blue-chip. Donny would be running a questionably-profitable pub. Alvin would be some kind of wholesale exporter/importer. Sasha would be an events manager. Jason and Debra would be married despite their objections. Sri would start a new religion around his dot theory. Black would be late (hang on, maybe they're not all inaccurate).
James Gomez - like I said earlier. Wrecking ball vs Ant. There's an online petition going around. Check it out if you're interested. I signed it because I just think it's blatantly unfair that the PM can retract his statements but the opposition member gets detained.
P.S. I know, I know.. Black wasn't in Melbourne but I thought it tied up things pretty well. :) Sorry black.
