Yay. New site is kinda up. Having school holidays at the moment. It's so nice to sleep in and not have to catch up with readings and stuff...

*sigh* Having said that, I just collected my reading packs. Looks like I've got quite a bit of work ahead of me this coming term.

At least my grades weren't too bad in term 1. Kinda encouraging in a way. Now I know that I can work harder and do better. *Banzai!*

(*sheesh* - that's what you get when you watch "the last samurai")

Here's a piece of funny that'll rack ur brains (from wired):

Confusion over who would pay for the surgery left an uninsured Utah woman who had half her skull removed following an auto accident waiting nearly four months to have the missing piece replaced. During that time, 22-year-old Briana Lane says she suffered excruciating pain and wore a plastic street hockey helmet to protect her brain. The hospital, which originally canceled the surgery over the billing beef, miraculously rescheduled the operation after Lane contacted a local TV station. It's still not clear who will pay for the surgery, but a neurosurgeon called the delay inexplicable. "There's no reason not to replace that as soon as you can," he said.
